Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Management
Introduction
The NCFE Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Management has been accredited by the qualifications regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is a cross sector and competence based qualification. A competence based qualification is based on National Occupational Standards and is a job ready qualification which requires learners to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required to work in a specific industry.
Programme Content
This qualification consists of 3 mandatory and 14 optional units:
1. Develop a strategic business plan
2. Develop strategic direction and leadership
3. Lead change in an organisation
4. Inform strategic decision-making
5. Put a strategic business plan into action
6. Establish policies and procedures
7. Support the culture of an organisation
8. Lead innovation within an organisation
9. Plan an organisation’s workforce
10. Manage a budget for own area or activity of work
11. Promote knowledge management across an organisation
12. Outsource organisational processes
13. Obtain additional finance for an organisation
14. Improve organisational performance
15. Manage quality systems
16. Manage a programme of complementary projects
17. Design and manage the business processes
Entry Requirements
Applicants should normally have an Honours degree (Level 6) or equivalent qualification. We encourage applicants without these formal qualifications where their range of work and other experience can compensate. In addition, applicants have to be at least 19 years old.
Progression
On completion of this qualification candidates may progress into employment or to a University in MA in Management or MBA.
