Applying to Innovative Skills Limited
All applicants to Innovative Skills Limited must follow the below procedure:
Submit their completed application form along with three passport sized photographs, and £150 non-refundable registration fee, with a copy of their passport, Academic Qualifications, work experience if any. For information pertaining to course details, entry requirements; fees payable please refer to the prospectus or website where each courses related information is detailed
On successfully qualifying through the above application process, a letter of acceptance (Conditional Offer) will be posted. Applicants must then send an advance deposit directly payable to the institute itself. Remember to state your name or Conditional Offer letters reference number as the payment reference. Upon receipt of the deposit the college will dispatch enrolment documents to support the visa application.
All fees must be paid in full via cheque, BACS, cash or international bank transfer (for international students), prior to course commencement. If paying by international bank transfer, please contact the Administrator who will provide the Innovative Skills Limited bank details alternatively you can mail us at info@innovativeskills.info
Acceptance on the grounds of falsified academic certificates will result in exclusion from the college and no refund of fees will be offered. Payment of fees via forged cheques will result in the college contacting the legal authorities to deal with this criminal act. Refunds will not be processed for Visas that have been rejected due provision for untrue information or documents.

International Students: Visa Requirements
Students wishing to apply for a visa must contact the British High Commission, Consulate, or Embassy to make an application. All such applications will necessitate a letter of acceptance onto a full-time course at Innovative Skills Limited, as well as a valid passport valid of at least 6 months. Applicants will also need to assure authorities that they will abide by the following rules:
Students seeking a visa should contact the British High Commission, Consulate or the Embassy, allowing adequate time for their visa application to be dealt with. The college can provide proof of admission to a programme of study, but all other visa requirements remain the responsibility of the applicant.
Students must show documentary evidence of having sufficient funds to support themselves financially throughout their programme of study within the UK.
There are several visa requirements in relation to non- EU students, these are stated below and should be adhered to without exception. An explanatory guide on such matters, and other pertinent issues, will be issued to international students during Orientation Week
Non-EU students may only enrol for full-time programmes of study and are generally obliged to submit at least partial payment of fees in advance.
Non-EU students are permitted to work a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Non-EU student wishing to enter the UK must have obtained a visa permitting him/her to remain in the UK for a period of time sufficient to complete the chosen programme of study.
All non-EU students must return to their home country upon expiration of their visa or completion/termination of their programme of studies.
A student wishing to remain in the UK post completion of their studies must apply to the Home Office (Interior Department) for permission to extend their stay.
All of the above visa requirements also extend to Visa Nationals. Additionally, such persons may be required to attend an interview with an Entry Clearance Officer, upon which the Innovative Skills Limited may provide guidance. During this interview applicants should present themselves as well-spoken, and knowledgeable upon their chosen course of study. Above all else, the applicant should justify their academic intention to study their stipulated programme offered to them, support themselves throughout their stay and leave upon completion/termination of their studies.
Visa Refusal or Withdrawing from your Programme of Study
International students whose visa application is refused may receive a refund within 28 days of supplying proof of such refusal, minus an administration fee of £ 100. To process the refund all original documents issued by the college along with the Visa refusal letter must be sent back to the college via a secured delivery. Please note refunds will not be processed for any Visa refused because of - provision of false information or documents during application, applicant did not have enough knowledge about the course or organisation, non-compliance of minimum IELTS requirement. Any student wishing to withdraw after 10 days of course start date will receive refund after deducting fees for one course term.
Student Services
Our aim is to provide an open, flexible and friendly environment, which is accessible to the whole student community regardless of colour, creed, ethnic, race, religion, or national origins; hereby exercising a fair and equal treatment for all students. Your constructive feedback is always welcomed to better any situation that needs improving.
To assist in opening bank account facilities, council tax and national insurance, related college letters will be made available to students. Overseas students are allowed to work part time up to 20 hours a week.
Accommodation Usually the college does not provide accommodation but can refer students to an accommodation near college premises, if requested. The accommodation options sometime also provide transport to and from the airport and if required to and from the place of accommodation to the college for the initial period. Costs of transportation would need to be confirmed depending on your needs and travel times. The college does not have any financial agreement with these accommodation providers.
Once within the UK students could shop around for private, shared or accommodation with local families depending on their needs and budget. The weekly rent for accommodation could range from £50- £100 per week depending on your needs. Overseas students arriving in UK should inform the Admission Officer of the college of their problem if any, at least a month prior to their arrival. The Admission Officer could forward you the links of the nearby accommodation which you could book over the internet. Any monies paid for the accommodation has nothing to do with the College.
Jobs
Students are allowed to work a maximum of 20hrs per week. Certain restrictions might be in place depending the type and level of course being studied. Our staff will advise on possible recruitment agencies and opportunities available.
Student Welfare and Behaviour
The welfare of its students is of paramount importance to Innovative Skills Limited. As such, a Student Welfare representative will support, guide and when required refer students to a professional organisation to ensure that the physical and mental well-being of all students is given due attention. The aim is to support and facilitate student’s academic and personal progression.
Finally, a primary obligation of all staff and students is to ensure that our policy of non-discrimination and mutual respect is adhered to. This duty obliges all individuals to behave in a manner reflective of the ethos of the college; that is, to welcome all and create an atmosphere which positively impacts all involved whilst aiding the growth and progress of each individual into the strength of a dynamic organisation.
